1.1 Scope: The City of Columbus, Department of Public Service is receiving proposals until February 12, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. local time, for professional services for the Roadway Improvements – Multimodal Engagement and Planning 2026 RFP. Tasks may require traffic analysis, bikeway planning, transit considerations, pedestrian infrastructure, parking analysis, placemaking and public art, and other services as needed to complete a study. For some corridors, assistance may be needed with planning a pilot or quick build implementation to promote a new design before the full design is adopted.All questions concerning the RFP are to be sent to capitalprojects@columbus.gov. The last day to submit questions will be specified in the RFP; phone calls will not be accepted. Responses will be posted on Bonfire at https://columbus.bonfirehub.com/login as an addendum.A pre-proposal meeting will not be held.Notice of published addenda will be posted on the City’s Vendor Services web site and all addenda will be posted on Bonfire at https://columbus.bonfirehub.com/login.The selected Consultant shall attend a scope meeting anticipated to be held on/about two weeks after proposals are due. The projected scope date will be specified in the RFP. If the Project Manager is not available, the Consultant may designate an alternate to attend in their place.1.2 Classification: All proposal documents (Request for Proposal, reference documents, addenda, etc.) will be available for review and download on Bonfire at https://columbus.bonfirehub.com/login after the RFP is advertised.
