    Description

    The Tacoma School District is requesting qualifications from Contractors interested in providing Design/Build (D/B) services related to the TPS Clean Buildings - Phase 3 Bundle Project. The delivery method will be the progressive design-build (PD/B) contracting method. The Design-Builder will be tasked with a full range of programming, design services and deliverables to describe the project for purposes of negotiation of GMP, permit review, subcontractor bidding, construction, commissioning, performance guarantees and other aspects of scope and terms sufficient to complete the project as required for use and occupancy by the District. The Alternative Public Works contracting procedure authorized in RCW 39.10.300 through 39.10.330 will be utilized for this project. This project will utilize the Progressive Design/Build delivery method. Contractors with previous design/build experience or experience using a similar alternative construction delivery format are encouraged to submit.
