Subject: Ridaught Odor Remediation Products and Services

Clay County Utility Authority intends to award a procurement as a Sole Source Procurement in accordance with its Procurement Policy 7.7, and State of Florida Statute 287.057 (3) (c).  Any responses received as a result of this Notice of Intent shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses will not be considered as proposals, bids, or quotes.

Background

CCUA intends to negotiate and award a sole-source procurement to purchase Odor Remediation Products and Services. CCUA would contract this procurement with TSC-Jacobs Florida, LLC. Iron Sponge® Media is a proprietary product manufactured exclusively by Connelly-GPM, Inc. According to the manufacturer's written certification, Connelly-GPM, Inc. is the sole manufacturer of Iron Sponge® Media, and no other company manufactures a similar or competing product that provides the same purpose or function. Connelly-GPM, Inc. has certified that TSC-Jacobs Florida, LLC, is the sole authorized distributor for this product within the CCUA Service Area.
