The City of Grove City, through the City Administrator, will receive sealed bids for the Roadway Improvement Project for Hoover Road from Holton Road to Orders Road via Bid Express, until 11:00a.m. local time on January 30, 2026, and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. Grove City will neither open nor accept bids received after that time. Subject to the right of Grove City to reject any or all bids, Grove City will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best bid(s). The work for which Grove City is inviting bids consists of the following: Base Bid • Roadway Improvement Project including 2,100 feet of improved pedestrian facilities from North Meadows Drive to Orders Road. Project includes asphalt path, curb & gutter, storm sewer, street lighting, bike railing, landscape, and bridge concrete walk & vandal fence improvements. Alternate Bid 1 • Decorative Bridge Aesthetic Cut-Out Upgrades Alternate Bid 2 • Upgraded Aesthetic Vandal Fence Alternate Bid 3 • Routine Maintenance Area Clearing and Re-Planting The estimated costs of construction for the work outlined in the plans and specifications for the various bids are: Base Bid: $ 1,824,000 Alternate Bid 1: $ 50,000 Alternate Bid 2: $ 206,000 Alternate Bid 3: $ 98,000 Schedule: The work shall commence within sixty (60) calendar days after the City issues the Notice to Proceed for the Contract. The work shall be completed within three hundred (300) calendar days from the City’s issuance of the Notice to Proceed for the Contract.
