Immediately thereafter, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Conference Room of the Rock Hill/York County Airport located at 550 Airport Road, Rock Hill, South Carolina 29732.

The City of Rock Hill, South Carolina ("City") is seeking responsive submissions from qualified companies for the Rock Hill/York County Airport - South Apron Expansion project. No submissions will be accepted after the deadline.

Envelopes containing proposals must be sealed and addressed to Mr. Steven A. Gould Jr., C. M., Airport Director, Rock Hill/York County Airport, 550 Airport Road, Rock Hill, South Carolina 29732. Envelopes must be marked as follows: “South Apron Expansion” with Contractor’s license listed on the envelope. The City strongly recommends completing your response well ahead of the deadline.
Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or by a certified check payable to the City of Rock Hill, Rock Hill, South Carolina, and drawn on some bank or trust company authorized to do business in the State of South Carolina, for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid.
A performance bond and a labor and material payment bond are required.
All Contractors are hereby notified that they shall have proper Contractor's licenses as required by the state laws governing their respective trade in the state where this Project is located.
All bids will be awarded by the Rock Hill City Council. The awarded vendor will be required to have a City of Rock Hill Business License before beginning any work.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the closing time for the receipt of bids. The City of Rock Hill reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all technical defects in the execution of the submission of any bid.
