The New York State Department of Transportation, is assisting HNTB New York Engineering, Architecture and Landscape Architecture P.C. The project duration is from the beginning of the Contract (anticipated in June 2026) until December 31, 2029 (4 years). However, the bids will only be valid for the first 2 years. The rope access will be re-bid in early 2028. The number of workdays required per crew to provide rope access per week will vary from zero to five (0 to 5) days. As many as two (2) separate work crews with all necessary equipment and materials may be required to work simultaneously at any time during the Contract. Should the selected low bidder be unavailable for the assignment within the work area, HNTB and NYSDOT reserves the right to request and assign the required work to the next lowest bidder. Insurance: Insurance requirements are as follow and shall be in accordance with the specifications in the Bid Documents: Policies of Bodily Injury Liability and Property Damage Liability Insurance; Policies of Automobile and Truck Insurance; Workmen’s Compensation Insurance; All Subcontractor’s. Permits: HNTB will procure all permits necessary to perform work, including, but not limited to: entry and temporary lane closure permits. As noted previously, proposals must be received at the offices of HNTB, 350 Fifth Ave, 57th Floor, New York, NY 10118 no later than 5:00 PM on March 11, 2026. Proposals received after the deadline will be returned to the bidder unopened. The Bids will be opened at 3:00 PM on March 12, 2026 and read out loud in the offices of HNTB, 350 Fifth Ave, 57th Floor, New York, NY 10118, by Mr. Seth Medwick, e-mail: smedwick@hntb.com.
