All document and solicitation details are available online at no cost at PennBid – www.pennbid.net The project consists of the following: 2026 Bituminous Paving488 Tons of 9.5mm Superpave, WMA PG 64-22, Scratch/Leveling Course, 0.0-0.3 million ESAL’s,SRL-L, 60 LBs/SY, to be placed on various areas of roadway. 1,463 Tons of 9.5mm Superpave, WMA PG 64-22 Wearing Course, 0.0-0.3 million ESAL’s, SRL-L,180 LB/SY/1.5” in place.16,250 SY FB-3 Modified Leveling Course, 175 LBS/SY Depth, SRL-L 16,250 SY Double Seal Coat using a Polymer Modified Emulsion and #8 Stone with 1.0 loss by wash. 2026 CAPE SEAL29,685 SY Single Bituminous Seal Coat using a Polymer Modified Emulsion & #8 Stone with a 1.0%Loss by Wash, followed by a Type II Slurry Seal. The bids will be presented to the Ross Township Board of Supervisors at the special scheduled meeting on 18, MAY, 2026 at 12:00 Noon with the intent to Award.All materials and workmanship must meet the requirements and standards of PennDOT Publication 408 – Specifications, and bidders must be PennDOT prequalified. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Ross Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. The Ross Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.
