    Notice is hereby given that Salem Township will receive sealed bids online via the PennBid Program (http://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) until 10:00 AM prevailing time on Friday, June 19, 2026, for the Salem Township Administration Offices, Building Renovation & Addition Project. The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, oversight and permits required to perform municipal building renovations and construction of a new 2,000 SF addition. This Project is a multi-prime contract, consisting of General Building Construction, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical and Site related construction. Site also includes pavement installation, underground roof leaders, sanitary and service utilities, concrete sidewalks, reinforced concrete aprons and all other work shown or reasonably implied.All bidding documents will be available online at no cost via the PennBid Program (http://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) beginning at 12:00 PM on Friday, May 29, 2026.Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply.All Prime Site Contractor Bidders must be PennDOT Prequalified for the tasks they complete, and all site subcontractors must be PennDOT Prequalified as a Sub-Contractor for the tasks assigned.Immediately following the due date and time, all bids received through PennBid will be opened online at the Engineer’s Office and referred to the Salem Township for final award. An abstract of the bids received will be available to bidders on PennBid following the date and time that bids are due as indicated above.A pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 8, 2026 at the site 38 Bomboy Lane, Salem Township. All bidders are encouraged to attend. Questions must be submitted through PennBid’s “Messages/Public Q&A” tab on or before 3:00 PM on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
