NOTICE TO BIDDERS TOWNSHIP OF RIDLEY Sealed bids will be received by the Township of Ridley online via the PennBid Program at www.PennBid.bonfire.com until 10:00 AM, on Monday, January 22, 2026, for the bid of the Sanitary Sewer Relining. Major items include 1,350 LF of 10” CIPP. All Bid Documents, Construction Plans and Specifications will be available online via the PennBid Program at www.pennbid.bonfirehub.com at no cost to prospective bidders. The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay PennBid Program a fee of ¼ % of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $150.00 and a maximum of $6,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to the Township of Ridley, must accompany each bid. Attention of Bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid package, particularly to the PA Prevailing Wage Rates, Public Works Employment Verification Form, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, non-discrimination and sexual harassment provisions and the requirements for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. All Contractors and Subcontractors of any tier that perform work under this contract must comply with the Township of Ridley Ordinance No. 2048 – Minimum Standards of Contractor Responsibility. Each bidder must submit a Contractor Responsibility Certification, and if applicable, a Subcontractor list and Subcontractor Responsibility Certification with the bid. Failure to submit the documents may result in bid being rejected. The Township of Ridley reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any informalities in the bidding, as them deem in the best interest of the Township.
