    The Harrisburg Consistory located at 2701 N. Third Street, Harrisburg, PA 17105 is inviting bidders to submit a sealed formal bid for Exterior ADA Access Upgrades to the Harrisburg Scottish Rite Cathedral front and rear entrances. An optional bid for Handrails and Guardrails associated with this project should be provided if the bidder is interested.The Scottish Rite Cathedral is owned and home to the Valley of Harrisburg Consistory and its concordant Scottish Rite bodies, The Masonic Temple Association of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, which includes several Masonic Blue Lodges, York Rite bodies and Masonic Youth groups. It also includes classrooms for the Children’s Dyslexia Center of Central Pennsylvania which is made available to the public at large.In addition to office space and the learning center, the facility not only hosts private Masonic events, but is also available for public rental and third-party events such as wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, corporate events, and social gatherings within any of several ballrooms, the largest of which can be configured to seat 550 people and includes an attached full-service catering kitchen. The Cathedral also offers a spacious 1,192-seat auditorium with a full stage boasting one of the largest curtains in the Harrisburg area which can accommodate just about any concert or theater performance.Bidders should arrange for a mutually agreeable time to visit the premises by contacting Thaddeus D’Ambrosia at thad@valleyofharrisburg.org or by telephone (717) 238-8867.Bidding documents can be obtained at no cost on PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/. Questions regarding this project shall be submitted electronically via the “Ask a Question” feature in PennBid. Responses to questions which require an addendum or changes to the Bidding Documents will be issued via a Public Notice and posted on PennBid. Bidders who have registered with and downloaded documents for this project from PennBid will be notified by email when a change or addenda has been posted.All Proposals shall remain firm for sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the receipt of the bid. Bidders guarantee that all goods and services meet the requirements of the solicitation during the contract period.
