Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated §§50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (¿eRFP¿) is being issued to establish a contract with one (1) qualified supplier who will provide Security Risk Assessments for the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (hereinafter, ¿the State Entity¿) (DBHDD) -owned and leased facilities statewide as further described in this eRFP. The purpose of this engagement is to complement and enhance DBHDD¿s existing safety and security programs by identifying vulnerabilities, recommending cost-effective mitigation strategies, and supporting the development of a long-term Security Master Plan for DBHDD facilities. Given the sensitive nature of DBHDD operations, the Contractor shall ensure that all project communications, data, and deliverables are handled in strict accordance with confidentiality and data security standards as defined by DBHDD policy, state law, and applicable federal regulations.
