    The ideal Contractor shall provide comprehensive, professional security services for designated City of Montgomery facilities, including continuous staffing, access control, patrolling, incident reporting, and emergency response. Contractor shall provide professional security services to City personnel, visitors, property, and assets during regular hours, after-hours, weekends, and special events. All personnel must be properly trained, meet City standards, and perform duties in accordance with established City protocols.

    A: This contract covers the contract guards at City Hall and 25 Washington.


    Q (Evaluation ): Will you be providing an evaluation metric to prospective proposers to inform how you will be grading each proposal?

    A: An amendment will be posted to incorporate evaluation criteria.


    Q (incumbent): Who is the current security provider and what are their bill rates?

    A: Presidential Security and Protective Services, LLC


    Q (weekly hours): The SOW reads :6.1 Regular Schedule • 103 North Perry Street: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. • 25 Washington Avenue: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. 6.2 Weekend Coverage • Saturday and Sunday: 24-hour continuous coverage at designated facilities." Are there paid or unpaid lunch breaks? How many armed officers are required at Perry Street and Washington Avenue during the week and during the weekend?

    A: 1. Paid or unpaid lunch breaks is a company decision. 2. Per the Scope of Work, the minimum number of officers is 4. The placement of the officers is up to the contractor; however, the security services must be satisfactorily performed at each location.

    Q (weekly hours): Can you provide the weekly hours by location?

    A: On average between 150 to 200 hours are worked every two weeks at each location. Additionally, 5 to 15 hours are worked supporting special events at City Hall every two weeks.

    A: Not at this time. If this occurs after contract award additional services will be incorporated into the contract via a contract modification.

    A: Historically there has been 2 at City Hall.

    A: Two officers unless more are requested.

Your per hour rate should be utilized to calculate your monthly cost. It most likely that any resulting contract will be based on a Not to Exceed amount given the fact that the monthly hours worked are not a fixed amount.
