    Description

    The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works (SJCDPW) requests technical proposals from qualified consultants (CONSULTANT) to undertake, perform, and complete the tasks set forth in Request for Proposals (RFP) – SJCDPW-RFP-26-01. selected CONSULTANT will perform professional and technical engineering services for the proposed Blossom Road Bridge 29C-116 or Elliot Road Bridge 29C-249 Scour Mitigation Projects (PROJECT). SJCDPW will have options to select one consultant for both projects or select one consultant for each project. The selected CONSULTANT will be the highest-ranked CONSULTANT that has successfully negotiated the terms for award of a consultant services agreement. The selected CONSULTANT or team will be requested to enter into a consultant services agreement with San Joaquin County (County). The PROJECT is federally funded. All work shall comply with the County Policies, the Local Assistance Procedure Manual (LAPM) and the most recent guidelines for the Federal Highway Bridge Program (HBP). The requested professional design engineering services shall include, but will not be limited to, the following: Project Management, Project Surveying, Mapping and Control, Environmental Clearance, Hydraulic and Hydrology Analysis, Permitting Compliance, Utility Coordination and Relocation Plan, Right-of-Way Engineering, Plans, Specifications, and Engineer's Estimate (PS&E), and Bidding and Post Award Assistance services for the PROJECT.
