A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply.Immediately following the due date and time, all bids received through PennBid will be opened online at the Engineer’s Office and referred to the Borough of Spring City for final award. An abstract of the bids received will be available to bidders on PennBid following the date and time that bids are due as indicated above.A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 9:00 AM on February 24, 2026, at Borough Hall, 6 South Church Street, Spring City, PA. All bidders are required to attend. Questions may be submitted through PennBid’s “Messages/Public Q&A” tab on or before 4:00 PM on March 3, 2026. Responses will be provided via PennBid to all registered parties.The Borough of Spring City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
