The Kenton County Airport Board (“KCAB”) will receive proposals for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System Upgrades & Maintenance. A pre-proposal meeting and site visit will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 10:00 am at CVG Centre, Admin. Offices, 77 Comair Blvd., Erlanger, KY 41018. Questions are due by 11:59 pm on Monday, June 8, 2026 and answers will be posted no later than Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 11:59 pm. Proposals must be received by Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 2:00 pm. No proposals will be accepted after that time unless such date or time is extended pursuant to an addendum issued by KCAB.
The stormwater management system uses two Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems to control and monitor various valves, pumpstations, tank levels, and the stormwater treatment plant. The glycol conveyance system SCADA utilizes Honeywell Enterprise Building Integrator and the stormwater conveyance systems uses VTSCADA as the SCADA software platforms. These assets are responsible for capturing, conveying, storing and treating spent aircraft deicing fluid (SADF). The Honeywell Enterprise Integrator system is outdated and better suited for building management. DHL is currently expanding their ramp. Their expansion includes additional pumpstations and a deice pad. These assets will require SCADA integration for controlling and monitoring these assets. The existing VTSCADA software system is at tag licensing capacity.
