SURVEY SERVICES - BUSH HILL RD RECONSTRUCTION

The Town of Manchester is seeking the services of a qualified Professional Land Surveyor, licensed in the State of Connecticut, to perform a topographic field survey and base map in AutoCAD format for the approximately 1.7 mile long (9,000 feet) section of Bush Hill Road between Hillstown Road and Keeney Street.

Background

The Manchester Department of Public Works, Engineering Division will be using the basemap to design a roadway reconstruction project along the same section of Bush Hill Road. Bush Hill Road is a Town-owned and maintained two-way two-lane, collector roadway. The roadway is in poor to very poor condition and is targeted for full replacement including consideration of minor spot storm drainage improvements. The Town anticipates extending a connection between the multi-use path on the east side of Hillstown Road to the sidewalk on Keeney Street (currently in construction) in accordance with the Town's Complete Streets Policy.

  As part of the final deliverables submission, a mylar depicting a field located existing conditions plan, annotated appropriately, showing the compilation of mapping and research along with all information stated within the scope of work is required.   Vendors who provide software and/or software support to the Town of Manchester must agree to the following requirements.

   

  Access to any Town of Manchester or related network is for the purposes of supporting this agreement. Any unauthorized use of that access will prompt immediate revocation of access rights and necessitate the use of other means for fulfillment of services in this agreement.

   

  Unauthorized access to Town of Manchester systems or data is prohibited.

   

  Data accessible due to access given for purposes of fulfillment of this agreement shall not be removed from devices controlled by the Town of Manchester.
