The project is being partially funded by the PA Department of Community & Economic Development (DCED), the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and other funding sources, and will be subject to Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA), the Steel Products Procurement Act and City Revitalization Improvement Zone (CRIZ) requirements.The work consists of a single prime contract. Such construction project can generally be described as:TEMPLE UNIVERSITY – TAMAQUA DENTAL CLINIC (Single Prime Contract)The work generally includes: This project will include the furnishing and installation of all required labor and materials to construct a new Dental Clinic / Teaching Facility and other ancillary related items, complete and ready for use by the Owner and in compliance with the latest codes and regulations.Bids will be received until 3:00 p.m. (local prevailing time) on February 20, 2026, through PENN BID.Digital bidding documents may be examined and secured through PENN BID. Addenda, if any, will be issued through PENN BID.All Bids shall be irrevocable for a period of 90 days after the bid opening date, for the purposes of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract.All bids shall be accompanied by a ten (10%) percent bid guaranty, payable to the Tamaqua Area Community Partnership. Bid security shall be in one of the following forms only: Certified check (drawn on a bank authorized to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania) or bid bond. Lack of bid guarantee may be cause for rejection of submitted bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor & Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract price. A one-year Maintenance Bond, in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the final contract price, shall also be required and submitted as part of the contract close-out documents.
