Work will include: The preparation, repair, furnishing and installing of a new Sports Master acrylic play surface on two existing courts. The restriping of 2-inch-wide white lines on two tennis courts per USTA standards. The striping of 2-inch-wide yellow lines for two pickleball courts within tennis courts. Remove and dispose of existing tennis nets and furnish and install new regulation tennis nets. Court Preparation: Clean surface with high pressure power washer to remove all dirt, mildew, peeling color, oil spots and any foreign matter from courts. Machine sand surface if necessary. Patching: apply acrylic patch binder to all areas holding 1/8 inches of water, or more for more than one hour after flooding. All patches must be sanded level with surrounding court areas. Crack Repair: fill all cracks with acrylic crack filler and/or make necessary repairs if needed. All filled cracks must be sanded level with surrounding court area. Acrylic Resurfacer Course: Apply one (1) coat of acrylic resurfacer, a concentrated and pigmented emulsion fortified with a silica sand to provide a levelling and filler coat. Acrylic Color Course: Apply two (2) coats of multi-purpose color plus silica sand to provide a tough, durable, textured playing surface. Court Color: Court colors shall match the existing courts unless otherwise approved in writing by the Township. Color samples shall be submitted for approval prior to installation. Playing Lines: Accurately locate, mark and paint two (2) inch wide playing lines using white striping heavy bodied acrylic latex compound with pigments and mineral filler for tennis courts per USTA standards Accurately locate, mark and paint two (2) inch wide playing lines using yellow striping heavy bodied acrylic latex compound with pigments and mineral filler for pickleball courts.
