No proposals will be accepted after that time unless such date or time is extended pursuant to an addendum issued by KCAB.
KCAB requires an all-inclusive design-build HVAC and general contractor for the Terminal Garage Vestibule HVAC Replacement and Upgrades project. The existing system has failed and is inoperative. The condensing unit has several refrigerant leaks and cannot be recharged. The air handler is in need of significant repairs, and the boiler is inefficient and 5 years past its replacement schedule. All components are well past their useful life and the vestibules on each level are minimally conditioned.

Describe the proposer’s business, how it is organized, and the resources and expertise it has available. Describe the proposer’s experience specific to Design-Build. Provide an overview of proposer’s ability to provide the services outlined in the scope of services. Firm's qualifications must demonstrate at least 3 years’ experience providing Design Build Services similar to those required under this RFP.
Indicated pricing for all items included in the Line Items Table. In a separate section, provide a cost breakdown of all hourly rates/fees/charges and anticipated reimbursable costs for each Line Item.
Provide a detailed process for how the proposer (including subcontractors) intends to deliver the core services outlined in this RFP. Provide a work plan describing the approach to managing this project. The approach must include all applicable processes to meet the requirements of this RFP. Develop and present a proposed schedule and phasing to complete this project in the required timeframe.
Provide a brief narrative of the proposed team’s experience in providing the scope of services outlined in this RFP. Include an organizational chart that graphically depicts team member assignments, reporting relationships and the central point of contact. Clearly identify the primary person who would be the Project Manager who would be the primary point of contact and responsible for day-to-day activities on behalf of KCAB. Demonstrate at least four years’ experience providing Design Build services as required in this RFP. Briefly summarize the roles, responsibilities and relevant experience of all principals involved with this account.
Proposals must include the information identified in this section and be presented in the order provided. Proposals must not exceed 15 pages and include consecutive page numbers on each page. Team member resumes and references may be provided in two (2) appendices attached to the proposal (Appendix A – References, and Appendix B – Resumes: do not count towards page limit).
