    Description

The Nature Conservancy PA-DE Chapter (TNC-PADE) is seeking qualified vendors to develop a Watershed Restoration Plan for the Cocalico Creek Watershed in northern Lancaster County and Southern Lebanon County. The Cocalico Creek Watershed Plan was last updated in 2008 and revisions are needed to reflect new data and new priorities. This Watershed Plan will serve as a strategic roadmap guiding restoration efforts by identifying key sites, stream reaches, and even sub-watersheds for wetland, floodplain, and stream restoration projects focused on reversing impairments. Restoration of riverine wetlands will be a key focus of this plan. The Plan will also identify a set of high-impact “anchor or catalytic or bead and string” projects that demonstrate what it takes to deliver durable restoration outcomes at scale. The Watershed Restoration Plan will build upon existing resources, documenting existing efforts and identifying new and emerging restoration opportunities to guide future water quality, quantity, and habitat restoration across the watershed. This restoration plan will catalyze collective implementation for at-scale projects to accelerate progress toward broader conservation goals. It will foster collaboration, not duplication, and build the trust necessary to co-create and co-fund on-the-ground, at-scale water-quality and habitat-improvement projects.Details regarding the project, including supplemental project information, are provided in the full RFQ. All activities must comply with the funder and federal guidelines provided in the full RFQ.Submissions are due April 6, 2026 at 5PM EST.
