    Description

    The Powder River Conservation District (PRCD) is accepting proposals on a Tree Removal and Tree Deadwood Pruning Project in Kaycee Town Park located in Kaycee, WY in Johnson County. The project area consists of 8 Tree Removals and 29 Tree Deadwood Prunes. This project area is accessible through public access into Kaycee Town Park. A project prospective with Attachments A, B, C, and bid form are included. Contractors are asked to participate in an on-site inspection of the area which will be offered Friday, February 20, 2026. The project will be awarded to the best proposal submitted and not just on a project value basis. Payment will be made after the project is completed to contract specifications and approved by the PRCD. Interested individuals should submit a written proposal including bid to the PRCD office by 4:00 pm, Friday, March 6, 2026. Project must be completed no later than December 31, 2026. Quotes received after 4:00 pm on Friday, March 6, 2026 will not be considered. Preference will be given to instate bidders. The right to reject any and all proposals is reserved. If bid comes in higher than project budget, the PRCD will look to size the project to fit chosen bidder’s total project cost. The contract will be awarded on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 during the PRCD’s board meeting.
