    Description

    Township of Salisbury will receive sealed bids for the Watermain Replacement Project on Linda Lane and Gail Avenue within the Township. The work will include installation of approximately 1,675 linear feet of 6-inch ductile iron pipe and appurtenances and surface restoration. Bids will be received online via PennBid until 2:00 p.m. (prevailing time) on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Bids results will be made available on PennBid after bid opening/review by Owner.Copies of the Specifications/Bid Forms are available at no cost on PennBid (https://PennBid.bonfirehub.com). Questions and inquiries should be addressed through PennBid’s “Ask A Question” button found on the Project Details page.The Project is funded, in part, under a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority, Small Water and Sewer Program. The Contractor and all Subcontractors will be required to comply with all program conditions and obligations as stated in Section 40-3 “Commonwealth Financing Authority Provisions/General Requirements”.The bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to the Owner in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total Bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Article 6.01 of the General Conditions. The successful bidder must furnish Performance, Payment Bonds and Insurance per Contract meeting the requirements of Article 6 of the General Conditions.The Project is subject to minimum wage rates in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and compliance with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Public Works Employee Verification Act.The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in, and/or to reject, any or all bids/proposals if, in their judgement, is not in the best interests of the Township. No Bid will be accepted if obtained from sources other than the issuing office noted above and if not submitted through the PennBid system.
