The Firm should review the draft agreement and include any exceptions to the same on a separate form included with their fee proposal; otherwise, it is assumed the firm will enter into such Personal Services Agreement with the County without exception.. Proposal submissions regarding this project are due on or before Wednesday, June 24th, 2026, no later than 3:00 pm EST at the location specified within the RFP. No late proposals will be accepted. Proposals should only be submitted after careful examination of the complete RFP and its requirements. The selected firm will be required to provide proof of general and professional liability insurance in the minimum amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence. Vendors doing business with Nassau County, including those responding to this solicitation, must register with the County. The Nassau County Bid Solicitation Boards are open to all registered vendors. Vendors that have not registered are able to view open solicitation opportunities, but they are not able to download solicitation documents or submit bids or proposals. Any Agreement award is subject to compliance with all provisions of Federal, State and local laws and executive orders requiring affirmative action and equal employment opportunity. The successful Proposer shall be required to comply with the requirements of Local Law No. 14-2002, “Participation by Minority Group Members and Women in Nassau County Contracts,” and 2-2016, “Participation of Service-Disabled Veterans in County Contracts.” All Proposers should review the provisions of Appendix EE (included as an attachment to the RFP) which outlines the requirements of Local Law No. 14-2002. Technical proposals shall include information regarding the Proposer’s plan to comply with Local Law No. 14-2002. MWBE UTILIZATION PLAN – In accordance with Title 53, Nassau County Local Law No. 14-2002, all Vendors shall submit a MWBE Utilization Plan with their Proposal. The Project also has a good faith effort Minority participation goal along with a good faith effort Female participation goal. This project is being subsidized with Federal Funding. Proposals should only be submitted after careful examination of the completed RFP and its requirements. The firm selected for this work will be required to provide proof of general and professional liability insurance in the minimum amounts of $2,000,000 and $4,000,000 per occurrence, respectively.
