It is the purpose and intent of these specifications that the children be transported to and from the program agencies regularly, promptly, safely, and without interruption or incident, and that the interest of the children in such transportation shall take precedence over the interest of the proposer and its drivers. The proposer is solely responsible for the safety of the children during transportation to and from the educational/rehabilitation programs. Administration of this service shall include responsibility for transport as indicated above, as well as arranging of schedules. Administration shall also include coordination with all of those entities listed in Appendix A for transportation of all Preschool Special Education children, including arrangement for transport of children new to the program. All information provided to the Respondent with regard to children and families served is to be held in confidence per all applicable federal and state laws and regulations concerning confidential information (“Confidentiality Laws”). Any violation of Confidentiality Laws may result in revocation of the contract and/or civil penalties.
