ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The City of Batavia is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide services for a tree planting and maintenance program funded under NYS DEC Contract #DEC01-C02887GM-3350000. Bid envelopes shall be marked on the outside “Contractor Services – Tree Grant Program, Bid #2026-03.” Contract award is subject to approval of City Council. The selected contractor will coordinate with the Bureau of Maintenance and administrative consultant to ensure all procurement, planting, maintenance, reporting, and compliance requirements are met. Specifications and bid requirements for said proposal may be obtained at the City of Batavia’s webpage, www.batavianewyork.com. All bids shall be submitted on forms provided by the City. Questions should be directed to Scott Allen at the Bureau of Maintenance at (585) 345-6400. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any irregularities in the bidding. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held virtually on Monday, April 27 for prospective bidders to ask questions.
