    Sealed proposals for the construction of the TREMONT LIFT STATION EU-193 project, will be received by the City of Bellingham, 210 Lottie Street, Bellingham, Washington, 98225 at the Purchasing Office until April 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., and thereafter will be publicly opened and read. The improvement consists of: This Contract provides for the improvement of a new Lift Station at the corner of Tremont Ave and Meridian St. and force main to connect the sewer system installed in 2010 along Meridian St. between Van Wyck Rd. and Smith Rd. to the City of Bellingham System and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. Price Range: $3,100,000 - $3,600,000 Plans, specifications, special provisions, basis to be used in comparing bids, proposal and contract can be viewed at the City of Bellingham website (https://cob.procureware.com/) or seen at the Purchasing Office, 210 Lottie Street, Bellingham, Washington, 98225, phone (360) 778-7750. All proposals must be on the Bid Proposal form provided by the City of Bellingham and must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, cash, money order or bid bond payable to the Finance Director in an amount equal to or exceeding five percent (5%) of the total bid. No other form of bid security is acceptable. A one hundred percent (100%) payment and performance contract bond will be required; provided that for projects of thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) or less, at the contractor's option, retainage of fifty percent (50%) will be held until releasable under RCW 39.08.010 in lieu of a payment and performance contract bond. The right is reserved to postpone making the award for a reasonable length of time, to reject any and all bids, or to waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights.
