    Description

    The Project scope generally includes but is not limited to the following major items:

      • 1,520 linear feet (LF) of 66-inch to 84-inch gravity wastewater line by open-cut;
      • One (1) aerial crossing consisting of 340 LF of 66-inch gravity wastewater line in 84-inch casing;
      • 1,040 LF of 84-inch gravity wastewater line by-other-than-open-cut;
      • 360 LF of 18-inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) Force Main per City of Farmers Branch standards by other-than-open cut and open-cut installation;
      • 290 LF of 8-inch HDPE Sanitary Sewer Pipe by open-cut and by-other-than-open-cut (All Depths)
      • Seventeen (17) – connections to existing interceptors and points-of-entry;
      • Ten (10) – 72” standard FRP or polymer manholes;
      • Five (5) – 60” standard FRP or polymer manholes;
      • Two (2) – 84” x 66” Fiberglass Junction Boxes with manhole risers;
      • Four (4) – City of Farmers Branch standard wastewater manholes;
      • Pipeline construction and earthwork across two (2) locations of creek and aerial crossings, including construction of a cofferdam and rebuilding a spillway structure;
      • 150 LF of storm drain replacement per TxDOT standards;
      • 50 LF of waterline relocation;
      • Plugging, flow diversion, and bypass pumping of existing interceptors;
      • Plugging, flow diversion, and bypass pumping of Hutton Branch existing interceptors;
      • Grout abandonment of existing interceptors, manholes, and junction structures;
      • Relocation of fiber optic and underground electric lines; and
      • Restoration.

    The Authority welcomes Proposals from Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs). Contractors and suppliers submitting Proposals shall encourage HUBs to participate in performance of the Contract.

    Selection of the Contractor shall be made using a competitive sealed proposal process in accordance with Texas Government Code Chapter 2269.
