    The manufacturer - Fairbanks Scales, Inc. - of the truck scales at the DeKalb County solid waste facilities does not authorize third-party service providers to service its customers' Fairbanks equipment However, the vendor operates a nationwide network of direct service providers, including Fairbanks Scales Atlanta Area Customer Service Center, to do so. Each Fairbanks Scales direct service provider is assigned an exclusive geographic territory. DeKalb County is located within the geographic territory assigned to Fairbanks Scales. No other local companies are authorized to access Fairbanks Scales parts or authorized to install, maintain and/or repair Fairbanks Scales equipment without voiding the manufacturer's warranty.
