    Purpose of Procurement Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide Smash Burger concept operations to the The University of Georgia (the State Entity) as further described in this RFP. The concept is located on the third floor of the Tate Student Center within Bulldog Cafe and has been open since March 2016 and operated by both UGA Dining Services and a contracted vendor since its opening. Fiscal Year 2026 sales for the current operation are expected to be approximately $275.000.00. There is potential for at least one additional location to be added during the next contract period. This solicitation will result in a single contract award to the highest-scoring proposal received from a responsive and responsible bidder. The contract will be for one year initially with the option for four annual renewals based on UGA's sole discretion.
