Scope of work: is to include all necessary labor, material and equipment for reducing heat within the 7th floor mechanical room located within the vertical expansion of the East Wing by providing insulation on existing uninsulated steam, condensate and hot water piping. Additional ventilation and exhaust air is being ducted to and from the space via an energy recovery unit (ERV) to help address the heat issue as well. Two chilled water fan coil units will also be installed in the space to provide some supplemental cooling in the warm summer months. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 180 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined free of charge at the campus and at the following locations. Pursuant to State Finance Law §139-j and §139-k, this solicitation includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between the University and potential bidders during the procurement process.
