Hard copies of all documents may be optionally purchased through PennBid, estimated cost is $100.00. Project drawings and documents are available for inspection at the Public Works Department in Upper Darby Township at 100 Garrett Rd., Upper Darby, PA 19082.WATKINS SENIOR CENTER GYM RENOVATIONS UPPER DARBY TOWNSHIP, DELAWARE COUNTYThis project includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools and equipment for the construction of gym floor replacement, new bleachers, basketball rims and backboards, wall padding, and electronic score board.Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw a bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Upper Darby Township in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be accepted and the bond shall state the same.All bidders submitting a bid greater than or equal to $100,000 are required to establish proof of competency and responsibility, in accordance with the Upper Darby Township Responsible Contractors Ordinance (RCO).Project requires the payment of PA Prevailing Wages, provided in the bid documents.The successful bidder(s) will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Bonds in one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the contract; a Maintenance Bond in the amount of twenty-five percent (25%) of the total contract price, as well as a Certificate of Insurance.The Township reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids, or take such action as it may deem in the best interest of the Township and as may be permitted by law.Pre-bid meeting is scheduled for February 18, 2026, at 10:00AM EST, at the project site located at the Watkins Avenue Senior Center, 326 Watkins Ave, Upper Darby Township, PA 19082.The Honorable Mayor Edward Brown
