    Description

    Sealed Proposals for the Upper Merion Township 2026 Road Resurfacing Program will be received online via the PennBid Program by Upper Merion Township until 1:00 P.M., prevailing time, on May 4, 2026. Upon review of submitted Bids, results will be posted online at PennBid website.Bidding Documents and solicitation details are available online, at no cost, at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. The successful Bidder who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay “PennBID” a fee in accordance with their established fee schedule.Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. Bids shall be effective for a period of sixty (60) calendar days.The project generally comprises of milling and overlay of ~15,500 LF of Township roadways, road markings, base repair, installation of ADA curb ramps, and restoration of areas disturbed by construction.The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price.Questions will be accepted until 3:00 P.M., prevailing time, on April 27, 2026; All questions must be submitted through PennBid.The Contract will be subject to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry.Liquid Fuels funds will be utilized for funding this project and all materials and work must conform to the most recent edition of PennDOT Bulletin 15, Publication 242 and Publication 408 unless otherwise specified.Bidder must be PennDOT prequalified as a Prime Contractor as specified in Section 102.01 of Publication 408.Upper Merion Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any or all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, or irregularities in any Bid.
