Purpose of Procurement Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide V2XPFS to Georgia Southern University (the State Entity) as further described in this eRFP. The Vehicle to Everything Pooled Fund Study (V2XPFS), led by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and Georgia Southern University, seeks to accelerate the deployment of vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technologies by infrastructure owner-operators (IOOs). The objective of this project is to develop a comprehensive suite of V2X Outreach Materials that will be announced and made available on the V2XPFS website (https://www.v2xpfs.org). These materials will promote broad awareness of V2X technologies and their use cases, enabling IOOs to incorporate clear, nationally consistent messaging into their outreach programs, procurements, and integration efforts. The materials will ultimately support scaled, effectivedeployment of V2X infrastructure that meets IOO needs. The selected subcontractor will work under the guidance of the V2XPFS Project Panel.
SLED stands for State, Local, and Education. These are solicitations issued by state governments, counties, cities, school districts, utilities, and higher education institutions — as opposed to federal agencies.
