Estimated Area• Approximate area: 601 sq ft (based on Google Earth measurement)• All measurements are estimates only. The contractor is fully responsible for verifying all dimensions and site conditions prior to bidding and construction.3. Contractor ResponsibilitiesA. Demolition & Removal• Demolish and remove the planter located within the highlighted area.• Remove all existing turf, roots, debris, and unsuitable material.• Dispose of all debris in accordance with local regulations.B. Grading & Base Preparation• Grade and level the entire 601 sq ft area to achieve proper compaction and drainage.• Provide and install infill/base material as required for a stable sub surface.• Ensure the finished grade is smooth, uniform, and free of trip hazards.C. Turf System Installation• Install impact attenuating padding suitable for playground and child use areas.• Install new synthetic turf over the padded base, fully secured and trimmed.• Ensure seams, edges, and transitions are clean, tight, and hazard free.• Turf must be installed per manufacturer specifications.D. Fence Installation (24 ft × 4 ft with Door)• Provide and install a 24 foot long, 4 foot tall wrought iron fence to separate the playground area.• Fence must include one wrought iron door/gate with:o Commercial grade hingeso Child safe latch/locking mechanismo Smooth, hazard free edges• All posts must be set in concrete footings sized appropriately for structural stability.• Fence alignment and gate placement shall be confirmed with MAOF during field verification.E.
