    Description

    Sarasota County is requesting quotes from bidders to provide and install four new volleyball court systems at Siesta Beach, 948 Beach Road, Sarasota, FL 34242.

      1. Court Dimensions:
        1. Length: Approximately 52.5’
        2. Width: Approximately 26.25’
      2. Net System:
        1. Length: Approximately 32”
        2. Width: Approximately 3’
        3. Mesh Size: Approximately 4” x 4”
        4. Net Border Material: Nylon or Polyethylene
        5. Net Border Color: Blue PMS288
        6. Must include a set of antennas with sleeves for each court system
        7. Horizontal cabling along the top and bottom of the net border
        8.  Vertical rods on the outside of the net within the border
        9. Each net border must feature white Sarasota County and Siesta Beach logos. Refer to Attachment B. Vector files available upon request.
        10. The net should be adjustable in height, with a range of approximately 7’4” up to 8’.
      3. Post Specifications:
        1. Material: 1/4” Aluminum
        2. Diameter: 4”
        3. Height: At least 8’4” above ground
        4. Color: Powder coated in color match to Cardinal Paint T009-WH11 / Full Gloss Smooth White
        5. Each post must include a box kite base
        6. Bases must be anchored securely into the sand
        7.  Bases must be able to be removed from the sand

        10. Each post must be equipped with a Blue PMS288 pro pole pad with Sarasota County and Siesta Beach logos on it. Refer to Attachment C. Vector files will be provided upon request.
      4. Court Markings:
        1. Court markings must be black in color
        2. Court markings must be securely anchored with sand plates of at least 8” in diameter, stainless steel carabiners, and ¼ inch bungee cord 3’ in length
        3. Boundary Line: Marked clearly with 2” wide boundary tape made from high-durability materials suitable for outdoor exposure.
        4. Centerline: Marked at the midpoint of the court with 2” wide boundary tape made of high durability materials that can withstand outdoor exposure.
      5. Additional:
        1. All components must be stainless steel (resistant to corrosion caused by saltwater environment).
        2. The price should include the removal of the wooden poles (8” X 8” X approx. 14’), hardware, and nets from the existing courts.
        3. The materials from the old court system will be stacked in the Siesta Beach Maintenance Yard. Please refer to Attachment A for the map.
        4. Contractor must supply all necessary equipment for the removal of the existing courts and the installation of the new courts.




    Background

    Award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder providing the lowest total bid price.

    DO NOT submit a quote of more than $50,000.  In the event no responsive and responsible quotes are received under the quote threshold, the County may elect to cancel this Quick Quote and re-solicit using another procurement method.
