    Washington Township, Berks County, PA will receive sealed bids online via PennBid until 11:00 A.M. prevailing time on May 28, 2026, for Emergency Generator Replacement. Bids shall be uploaded to Penn Bid. After which time Bids will be opened with results displayed publicly on PennBid. The consideration of the apparent low Bidder will be at the regular scheduled Township Meeting to be held at 7:00 PM on May 28, 2026. Additional information, project requirements, bid documents and solicitation details are available at no cost on PennBid website - www.PennBid.net. All bidders must submit bid security and adhere to all bid requirements as indicated within the Project Specifications.The project includes the Emergency Generator for the Weinsteiger Road Pump Station.No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the above-specified date for receiving, opening, and reading of bids, except as specifically may be provided by law.All Contracts exceeding $10,000.00 shall be performed in compliance with Executive Order 11246, entitled, “Equal Employment Opportunity,” as amended by Executive Order 11375 and as supplemented in Department of Labor regulations (41 CFR Part 60). In addition, all Contractors shall comply with the “Nondiscrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause” as required by Pennsylvania Executive Order 2016-05.The wages paid shall be subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961, P.L. 987 as amended and supplemented, and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act of 1955, P.L. 744, No. 222, as amended June 25,1997 by Act 34 of 1997, 43 P.S. §§ 951-963, shall also apply to this Contract.The qualification documentation listed in Article 3 in the Instructions to Bidders must be submitted with the bid.Washington Township, Berks County, reserves the right to waive any informalities in, or to reject any or all bids, and to delete any item or portion of an item without affecting the bids on the remaining items or portion of items.Washington Township Susan J.
