The City of DeSoto, Texas (the “City”) is requesting this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified and experienced consulting engineering firms for the development of a Wastewater Collections System Master Plan. This plan is intended to address the current and future needs of the City’s wastewater collection system and provide long-term guidance and planning for future wastewater system capital improvement projects over a multi-year planning period.The selected Respondent will be invited to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with the City, in a form provided by the City, to perform the services described in this RFQ and Scope of Work. The selected Respondent shall furnish all labor, personnel, materials, equipment, and other resources necessary to complete the project in accordance with the negotiated agreement.All questions must be submitted in writing no later than Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 5:00PM.All SOQs must be submitted in person or by mail to 211 E Pleasant Run Rd, DeSoto, TX 75115 by Friday, August 28, 2026 at 11:00 AM, at which time all SOQs will be opened and respondents will be read aloud.
