JCCC is the state's third largest institution of higher education and the largest of the nineteen community colleges in the state of Kansas, educating approximately 35,000 students. Established in 1969, JCCC is dedicated to transforming lives and strengthening communities through learning and has enjoyed a national reputation for educational excellence and student success for more than 50 years. JCCC is dedicated to smaller class sizes, more resources, a thriving campus culture, competitive tuition rates, and extracurricular experiences that transcend the norm. WDCE Overview JCCC's Workforce Development and Continuing Education division provides workforce training, certification and re-certification opportunities, and public courses to more than 16,500 students each year. WDCE operates two state grant programs, one of Kansas’ eight Small Business Development Centers and Johnson County Adult Education, the largest provider of adult basic education in Kansas. WDCE courses range from professional skill development in fields like healthcare, business/computer skills development, and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training to personal interests like language, financial wellness, and culinary. The College aims to replace the current student registration system used by the WDCE department with a SaaS compliant solution that supports our evolving needs. Streamlining registration processes, improving data integrity, while ensuring accessibility and FERPA compliance, this effort will enable a seamless transition, deployment and application release with minimal disruption converting from the current system, positioning the WDCE department for operational success for the foreseeable future.
