NOTICE INVITING BIDS RECEIPT AND OPENING OF BIDS Sealed bids will be received only at the Beaumont Cherry Valley Water District (Owner), 560 Magnolia Avenue, Beaumont, California 92223, Telephone (951) 845-9581 until 3 p.m. local time on Thursday March 19, 2026, for Well No. 25 and Well 1 Pumping Unit Repair and Well Rehabilitation. Work: The work consists of well pumping unit rehabilitation at two (2) District well site. These sites are located within the District’s Service Area and is specifically located in the City of Beaumont. Well No. 25 is located at 1415 Starlight Avenue in the City of Beaumont and is further detailed in Appendix “C” of the complete bid package. The Well 25 site will require site specific work related to components of well pumping unit repair and/or replacement and well rehabilitation. Well No. 1 is located at 815 12th Street in the City of Beaumont and is further detailed in Appendix “C” of the complete bid package. The Well 1 Site will require site specific work related to the removal, inspection, replacement or refurbishment of all subsurface components and installation of said pumping components in the recently drilled Well No. 1A located approximately 100’ South of Well No. 1 and within the same project site. The work shall be performed by a single contractor under a single contract. Prevailing wages will be in effect for this work and costs must be in compliance with State Labor Code as listed in the project agreement. A charge of $10.00 will be made for each hard copy of each bid package requested. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the place and time stated above. Bidders are invited to be present. Bidders may examine the Contract Documents at Beaumont Cherry Valley Water District, 560 Magnolia Avenue, Beaumont, California, 92223 by appointment only. Bidders shall be licensed in accordance with provisions of Chapter 9, Division 3, of the Business and Professional Code of the State of California on the date and at the time of submittal of the Bid. Required classifications are: Class A, General Engineering; and/or C-57, Well Drilling. Bidders shall have verifiable experience in similar work. Bidders and their sub-contractors shall also be registered to perform public work pursuant to Section 4104 of the public contract code with the State of California, Department of Industrial Relations. Bidders must comply with and agree to all instructions and requirements in this notice and in the Request for Bid. All Bids must be submitted on the Prescribed Bid Form. The successful Bidder shall furnish insurance in accordance with the Request for Bid before execution of the Contract Agreement. A pre bid tour of the project sites may be arranged with the District’s Director of Operations, James Bean. Do not proceed directly to the project site. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any irregularity, or to award a Contract to other than the lowest bidder. If Owner elects to award a contract for the Work, the award will be made within 30 days from the date of the bid opening.
