YTR-26-0019 - VRFA FS 38 and VRFA Administrative Headquarters - Commissioning

RFP FOR THE BUILDING COMMISSIONING AGENT. ROOFTOP UNITS ARE AN ALTERNATE ON THE HEADQUARTERS BUILDING. PLEASE INCLUDE SEPERATE LINE ITEM FOR THAT.The VRFA Fire Station 38 portion of the Project consists of all work to be performed as indicated in the Project Manual, Drawings, and any posted Addenda. The Project includes a new two-story Fire Station of approximately 14,960 sq. ft. and associated site and offsite work. The station will be a steel framed structure on deep foundations with (3) full apparatus bays, support spaces, crew workspaces, crew living spaces, and (7) sleeping rooms. The site is approximately 1.16 acres. Site and offsite work includes site structures, storm water systems, utilities, landscaping, paving, frontage improvements, and additional work as identified in the Contract Documents. Substantial Completion for this portion of the Project shall be achieved within four hundred and twenty-six (426) calendar days after the Owner’s Notice to Proceed, and Final Completion shall be achieved within forty-five (45) calendar days after Substantial Completion.The VRFA Administrative Headquarters portion of the Project consists of all work to be performed as indicated in the Project Manual, Drawings, and any posted Addenda. The Project includes approximately 18,400 square feet of remodeling (including extensive demolition and repartitioning of spaces) of an existing medical office building. The Project includes exterior envelope improvements and site work at the perimeter of the building and at two parking lots. This portion of the Project includes Bid Alternates and additional work as identified in the Contract Documents. Substantial Completion for this portion of the Project shall be achieved within three hundred and four (304) calendar days after the Owner’s Notice to Proceed, and Final Completion shall be achieved within forty-five (45) calendar days after Substantial Completion.
