OYS is seeking input from community partners to inform the development of a coordinated Community-Based Residential and Stabilization service model. Please respond to the following: 1. From your experience, what factors should be considered in determining the most appropriate level of care for youth (e.g., crisis response, short-term stabilization, or longer-term residential placement)? 2. What approaches or models are most effective in managing residential capacity, including bed availability, intake prioritization, and placement decision-making? 3. What staffing structures, staffing ratios, and retention strategies have been most effective in supporting both crisis response and residential services for youth with varying levels of need? 4. What challenges and best practices should be considered in coordinating transitions for youth from crisis or emergency situations into residential services and longer-term support?
