The SCN Emergency Notification System will be equipped to make 20 simultaneous calls (conference calls) to reduce the delay of emergency notifications. The place of performance is the California Air National Guard Station, 146th Airlift Wing Channel Islands, 100 Mulcahey Dr, Port Hueneme, California. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 334210 Telephone Apparatus Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. This Sources Sought/Presolicitation Notice is not a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This notice is published for this proposed action in accordance with RFO FAR 5.101(a). The 146 OPS Secondary Crash Net (SCN) salient characteristics will be detailed in the RFQ when distributed. Quotes will be due no less than 10 days from the date the solicitation is issued. The definitive due date and time will be stated in the solicitation and any associated amendments that may be issued. Interested vendors are responsible for checking https://SAM.gov for any update(s) to this Notice. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for any vendors inability to access any documents posted at the above-mentioned website. To conduct business with the Department of War, a Contractor must provide registration information to the System for Award Management (SAM). All offerors must be actively registered at SAM prior to receiving an award. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished at https://SAM.gov.
