    Description

    The U.S. Army Contracting Command-New Jersey (ACC-NJ) on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager for Combat Ammunition Systems (PM CAS) both located at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey intends to issue a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) modification for the manufacture, test, packaging, and delivery of 155mm M795 Metal Parts Assembly.  The 155mm M795 Metal Part is made from a high fragmentation steel alloy (HF-1), has a finished weight of approximately 75 lbs., is a forged metal part approximately 30 inches long, and has a curved exterior. In addition, the M795 utilizes a welded rotating band that encircles the body close to the base. The M795 Metal Part is phosphated with both its internal cavity and exterior receiving a layer of paint. For storage and transport, a lifting plug is threaded into the nose cavity and a flexible cover is installed over the rotating band. The metal parts are palletized and provided to the Load Assemble Pack manufacturer for further processing.

    This modification shall be issued under the current contract W15QKN-19-D-0084 with General Dynamics OTS (Wilkes Barre), LLC, 1500 Highway 315 Blvd, Wilkes Barre, PA 18702-7005.  This modification will increase the contract ceiling by $15,000,000.00 from $$891,165,000.00 to $906,165,000.00.  This modification will be issued under the authority of 10 U.S.C.3204(c)(1); as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B)-Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.  This modification is to ensure adequate property management and production support of the Scranton Army Ammunition Plant (SCAAP), a Government Owned, Contractor Operated facility as a result of increased production. Appropriate and available funds are available for this acquisition.

    This announcement is for notification purposes only and shall NOT be construed as a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) nor is the Government obligated to issue an RFP. Any information or exchanges between Contractors and the USG are at no additional cost and/or obligation to the USG. The anticipated award for this action is September 2025. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
