Description

This is a Solicitation for A-2-4 Selective Fill material as defined by the AASHTO Soil Classification System for Vieques National Wildlife Refuge, Puerto Rico.

This will include transit to barge location, barging to the island of Vieques, and then hauling by means of dump truck from the port to the outlined stockpile locations (various) (18.11585, -65.41898) at Vieques National Wildlife Refuge.

See attached SOW and solicitation packet instructions for maps and details on what to provide.

To receive approval from the FWS to begin delivery/shipment, vendor must provide a sieve analysis for the materials.

3. Statement that the vendor understands the Jones Act and how it applies to Puerto Rico.
4. Evidence that the vendor has a detailed logistics plan to deliver the material to Puerto Rico, truck it to a different port (or same port) to barge it over to Vieques and unload via truck (vendor provides trucks) at designated spots. Also address permits needed to transfer material.
