NOTICE OF INTENT TO SINGLE SOURCE – CBP FLIR HD TFU UPGRADES OF BORDER SUPPORT EQUIPMENT PROCUREMENT IN SUPPORT OF CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION

In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source using single source procedures.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a one-time single source contract, for items listed below.

Description  :  upgrade standard TFUs (part number 3290004-627) to the HD TFUs (part number 3290004-864).

Rational Basis for Use of Single Source Award Procedures:

Teledyne FLIR  is the only responsible source for procurement of parts and end items being requested by the Federal Aviation Administration Logistics Center in support of Customs and Border Protection.
