ARES-G2 RHEOMETER

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open basis the following items: 1) Rheometer ARES-G2 P/N: 401000.901, Qty 1 EA. This requirement is sole sourced to TA Instruments - Waters L.L.C. 159 Lukens Dr., New Castle, DE 19720.  as the only vendor able to produce this requirement due to TA Insturments being the only company that makes the Ares-G2 and its controlling software is proprietary.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency.  The written response shall reference solicitation number N6893624Q0257 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm’s experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule.  Written responses to this notice shall be submitted by email to Amy Lamberth at amy.s.lamberth.civ@us.navy.mil
