The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine availability and capability of qualified businesses.

Responses to this notice will be used for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research only.

The Government does not intend to award a contract based on responses and the Government is not obligated to and will not pay for information received as a result of this announcement.

We are seeking qualified sources for the potential to be added to our bidders list. Below is a brief synopsis of the work being performed.

This is a non-appropriated funds global supply schedule. Interested vendors or bathtub & shower surround providers shall submit their capability statement electronically, limited to five pages, which includes the required questionnaire. The capability statement shall be sufficient in detail to allow the Government to determine the organization's related qualifications to perform the work.

Project:

Seeking qualified contractor(s) to provide one-piece acrylic bathtub and shower surrounds for CONUS and OCONUS USAF bases. Bathtub and shower surrounds shall meet or exceed the following specifications:

AF Lodging  REQUIREMENTS for shower/tub surrounds:

Made in America

Seamless ONE piece wall system

Lifetime Warranty on product and 5 year on installation

100% Acrylic walls installed over existing

100% Acrylic backed with Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS)

Free Standing shower bases minimum thickness of .200” and from single sheet of smooth acrylic without seams or joints.

Tub over tub install

Tub liner minimum thickness of .225” and from single sheet of smooth acrylic without seams of joints.

Wall minimum thickness of .115 and from single sheet of smooth acrylic without seams or joints.  Will be molded at a 90 degree bend.

Custom fit products, measure each tub to ensure precise fit.

Mildew resistant silicone caulking

Provide wainscoting full height if needed.

Ability to convert tub to shower

Wall pattern 6”x6” white in gloss finish

Applied soap dish and shampoo holders (no wall penetration)

Supply Moen and Delta Faucets

Installed by factory trained personal with a minimum of 8 weeks factory training

This requirement will focus on providing sustainable, cost-effective acrylic surround solutions to all USAF Lodging operations to meet guest needs.

Firms interested in this effort must fill out the Past Performance Questionnaire attached as part of the 5-page limit, demonstrating recent experience completing at least three (3) similar projects with three references to include contact information, which shall include a description of their experience(s) on the projects noted and demonstrate the ability to meet end customer needs both within and outside of the continental United Stated through existing distribution and supply chain channels. A similar project is defined as a project similar in scope, type and complexity demonstrating a capacity to perform. Recent is defined as work completed in the past 3 years.

Vendors who do not send the required information, or who fail to meet the requirements identified in this Sources Sought, may not be invited to participate in the resultant opportunity.
