Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE. This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regular (FAR) 5.101. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals. The statutory authority for this notice is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) set forth in FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

Cutter Line Insulation Monitor (LIM) cabinets, materials and transportation is needed in preparation for additional newly homeported Fast Response Cutters. USCG intends to award to ESL Power Systems, Inc. The intent of the of the sole source is we believe ESL Power Systems, Inc is the only company that does specific construction for the Coast Guard and Navy short tie equipment in accordance with the Coast Guard’s Shore tie electrical requirements (CSTO). All responsible sources may submit a capability statement clearly demonstrating the ability to perform the requested service before this notice close date, which may be considered by the Agency. Responses to this notice shall be submitted to SKCS Kristina Ijima at Kristina.a.ijima@uscg.mil

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation will be posted as a result of this notice. This special notice is being issued for informational purposes only.
