The Air Force intends to negotiate and award a non-competitive contract to JOHNSON CONTROLS, INC. in accordance with FAR 6.302-5(b)(7), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The requirement is for the repair of the EMCS Controls at Barracks that are defective and need to be repaired in order for the HVAC system to function correctly and provide appropriate heating and cooling to the Barracks. All defective UNT controllers should be replaced with new CGM04060 controllers. Please note that this Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source is not a formal award, but rather a notification of our intended action.
The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220 and the Small Business Size Standard is $19,000,000. This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part
5.203 in response to the mandatory requirement for notification. 633 CONS/PKC, 14 BURRELL ST BLDG 67, LANGLEY AFB, VA 23665 United States intends to award a sole source contract to acquire services in support of 733 Civil Engineering Squadron.
Once again, this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources who believe that they are capable of meeting the requirement may submit a quote to SSgt Gerell Johnson at gerell.johnson@us.af.mil for consideration no later than 4:30 pm Eastern Time, 03 April 2026.
Please include clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Air Force. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
