GAUMARD SCIENTIFIC OBSTETRIC MANIKINS SERVICE AND REPAIR

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE SOLE SOURCE AWARD

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Indian Health Service (IHS), Bemidji Area intents to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract on a sole source basis to Gaumard Scientific, for the Cass Lake IHS Hospital in Cass Lake, MN. The anticipated period of performance will be for a base plus 2 option years.

The sole source action will be issued under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a) - only one source reasonably available. Gaumard Scientific currently is contracted to provide maintenance and service on Noelle and Newborn Tory Simulation Obstetric Manikins at the Cass Lake Service Unit. Gaumard Scientific is the sole provider, sole manufacturer and distributor for the Noelle and Newborn Tory Simulation Obstetric Manikins.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811210: Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance.
